Biography

Shannon is an Indiana native, but spent many summers in Kentucky visiting grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. The rocky cliffs were always greeted with an exclamation of, “There’s Granpa’s mountains!” While every request to climb them was met with a no, Shannon is now looking forward to Mountain Day activities where she might finally get to do that. Her passion is and always has been learning new ways to use existing skills while adding new ones. A favorite quote is, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin
Shannon has two adult children and two bonus children that have been a wonderful blessing. She also enjoys windy Jeep adventures with her two four-legged children that greet her every day with wagging tails.

Degree

  • Shannon graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Sociology, minor in Psychology. Shannon has earned certifications in Applied Behavior Analysis, RBT, and Professional Crisis Management.
