Interested in applying for a grant? Fill out the form below at least 7 days before the proposal deadline. For the upcoming 2026-2027 Folk Arts and Cultures Initiative, grant inquiries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026. Davey King, director, will follow up with you on your project.

Please note: If you have previously submitted a grant inquiry and were approved to submit a
proposal, or if you have previously applied for or received funding from the Appalachian Fund,
you do not need to complete this form again. Instead, please proceed directly to the proposal
form, available on the Application Process page.
