Biography
Dr. DeAnna Katey is the Director of the Office of Emerging Scholars at Berea College. She is dedicated to creating transformative opportunities that support the success of first-generation, low-income, and historically underrepresented students. Through a student-centered approach, she leads initiatives that promote academic achievement, leadership development, belonging, and holistic student success. Dr. Katey holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Morgan State University and is passionate about helping students discover their strengths and reach their full potential.
