Stephanie Love is the Student Success Coordinator in the Office of Advising and Retention Strategy (OARS). She works directly with students through individualized coaching, helping them recognize their strengths, develop practical skills, navigate challenges, and identify next steps that reflect their own goals. Students may connect with Stephanie when they are experiencing academic difficulties, trying to build more effective strategies, navigating a complex situation, or simply unsure where to begin.

Stephanie also works closely with faculty and campus offices to strengthen the network of support surrounding students. Her work includes developing student success programs and resources, strengthening connections across campus, and helping create more coordinated and student-centered approaches to academic support. She believes that meaningful support begins by listening to students, respecting their experiences, and helping them build the knowledge, skills, relationships, and confidence to define and pursue success for themselves.

Before joining Berea, Stephanie spent nearly a decade in community-based social work and several years leading student support and intervention efforts at the University of Kentucky. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky and a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from University College London. Originally from the United Kingdom, she has called Kentucky home for more than 15 years.
