Biography

After 15 years in public education as a special education teacher, I have transitioned into a new role in higher education at Berea College. I hold a Master’s degree in special education and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and am dedicated to helping students with diverse needs at Berea College. My goal is to help students learn self-advocacy and develop tools for success both on campus and beyond. My academic goals are continuing to explore assistive technology as it evolves and advances consistently; and my long-term goal is to become fluent in ASL. Outside of work, I enjoy life on our farm, reading, and watching football with my husband and two daughters.
