Declaration of Major

Students will receive notification that it is time to declare a primary major during the student’s 4th regular term. This usually occurs during the second term of the sophomore year. Failure to complete the Declaration of Major process as required by policy could result in suspension from the college for two regular terms.

Important Dates

January 19 - 25: Student window opens for proposals
January 30 - February 12: Faculty window opens for review
February 23: Plans due for advisor to review
March 13: Office of the Registrar review begins
