Berea College is an NCAA Division III school, offering student-athletes the opportunity to participate in 16 intercollegiate sports, in addition to cheerleading. As a member of the Collegiate Conference of the South, Berea’s athletic teams compete in baseball, softball, basketball, cross country and track and field, golf, soccer, tennis and volleyball.

Intramural Sports Program:

  • If intramurals are more your speed, there are plenty of options for you to choose. The Berea College Intramural Sports Program aims to increase student engagement, health and fun, by offering an extensive range of sport leagues, tournaments and events for Berea College students, staff and faculty. These leagues include flag football, sand volleyball and kickball. To participate in Intramural Sports, you must be a Berea College student, faculty, or staff. Almost all sport registrations take place on IMLeagues.

Outdoor Adventure Program:

  • Outdoor Adventures/Recreation collaborates with the college community to offer exemplary facilities, programs and services that inspire participation and engagement. Reflecting the varied leisure and wellness needs of the college community, Berea College Outdoor Adventures provides extensive access to a broad range of recreational activities and services.
