Your Medical Coverage: Flexible Plans for Yor Family
Berea College is committed to providing excellent medical coverage through the Anthem Blue Cross blue Shield network, utilizing the Anthem Blue Access National Network for broad provider access. We offer you flexibility with three options: the Premium Plan, the Core Plan, and a High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).

Navigating Your Coverage and Claims
While Anthem provides the network, all claims are processed and administered by our dedicated Third-Party Administrator,
Point C.
Smart Choices for Cost Savings
We offer a tiered network design to help you save money on your healthcare expenses:
Please note: The deductibles for Tier 1 and Tier 2 are tracked separately but do accumulate toward one another.
Your deductible resets annually on January 1st, so it’s important to keep track of your yearly healthcare spending.
Modern Care at Your Fingertips: LiveHealth Online
We provide access to convenient, round-the-clock virtual care through LiveHealth Online. You can connect with a US Board- Certified doctor via live video on your computer or mobile device, 24/7. Doctors can even send ePrescriptions to a local pharmacy where permitted.
Beyond general medicine, LiveHealth Online also offers world-class therapy and psychiatry virtual visits. Appointments for mental healthcare are available weekdays, evenings, and weekends, fitting care around your schedule.
| Virtual Services | PPO Plan (Premium/Core) Cost | HDHP Plan Cost |
| Online Doctor Visit | $10 Copay | $59 |
Important Enrollment Rule for Spouses
To ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, please be aware of the following eligibility rule: Spouses who are offered
PPACA compliant medical coverage through their own employer are ineligible to join the Berea College medical plan. If you
plan to enroll your spouse, you must submit a completed Working Spousal Affidavit during enrollment.
