I bring more than 25 years of experience in higher education, with a background that includes purchasing and procurement, P-Card administration, vendor relations, contract management, inventory control, and employee training. Throughout my career, I have especially enjoyed finding ways to make processes simpler and more efficient while helping colleagues better understand the policies and procedures behind them. I value collaboration and working with people across departments, solving problems, sharing what I know, and being someone others can turn to when they need help.

After spending most of my professional career within higher education, I have come to appreciate that the work is about much more than policies, purchasing, and numbers. It is about the relationships that develop within a campus community and the opportunity, whether directly or indirectly, to contribute to an environment where students can learn, grow, and succeed.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling (especially cruising), RPGs and tabletop gaming, theater, arts and crafts, and have recently begun teaching myself Spanish. I am always interested in visiting new places, learning something new, or just finding a good reason to get out on the water.
