Erica Woods

Erica currently serves as the Associate Director for Organizational Culture in her eighth year as a Berea College employee. Originally from Alabama, she started her journey at Berea as student in 2010, and shortly after graduation, became employed in the Office of Admissions as an Admissions Associate in the BereaCorps program. Once she completed her two-year BereaCorps contract, Erica began working with the Office of Strategic Initiatives holding positions as an Administrative Assistant, Program Coordinator, and Associate Director. In her most previous role, she was charged with leading several grant initiatives across campus and managing the BereaCorps Program. Erica also served as an Assistant Track and Field Coach for eight seasons.

Erica continues to manage the BereaCorps Program of 22 young alumni employees providing professional development programming and mentorship through the program’s mission. She also works closely with supervisors in the program to support their work in their departments as well as the work of their BereaCorps member(s). Erica also is responsible for implementing and administering trainings as requested from the Campus Climate Assessment towards a culture of belonging for all of the campus community.
