Search Block

Search Block

The "Search Block" is a search field that is integrated directly within the content of a webpage, as opposed to being a separate page or a dedicated search bar in the header or sidebar. The main function of an in-line Search Block is to allow users to quickly search for specific content within the context of the current page or section. When creating a webpage, you might use an in-line Search Block in the following scenarios:

  • Content Navigation: An in-line search feature is useful when you have a substantial amount of content on a page, such as articles, products, or information. It enables users to find relevant information without having to navigate away from the current page.
  • Enhanced User Experience: Including an in-line search option enhances the overall user experience by providing a convenient and efficient way for users to locate specific content or information.
  • Complex Websites: On websites with complex structures or numerous pages, an in-line search bar can simplify the user's journey by allowing them to search for what they need without manually navigating through menus and links.

The current search bar is fairly limited, but we have big plans for it!
