Jena Armstrong grew up in Covington, KY, and began her journey at Berea College in the fall of 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout her time at Berea, she gained extensive marketing experience through various campus labor positions. She worked as a Marketing TA for the Business & Economics Department and as a Social Media Associate for the Marketing & Communications Department, later advancing to Student Manager for the Social Media team.

Beyond labor experiences, Jena expanded her expertise in management and marketing as a Continuous Improvement Intern here on campus in the summer of 2023 and as an Outreach Intern in the summer of 2024 with Tharros Place in Savannah GA. After earning her Business Administration degree in December 2024, she joined the Office of Continuous Improvement as a Marketing Associate.

In her role, Jena has taken on key responsibilities such as facilitating client meetings, developing standard work and visual management systems, updating campus presentations, and enhancing the OCI website to ensure clear, accurate, and effective communication of the office’s work across campus.
