PACE, a program of the Carter G. Woodson Center for Interracial Education focuses our work on four key pillars aligned with the Great Commitments of Berea College. Our programming emphasizes how our thoughts on race inform, amplify, and transform our scholarship and understanding of poverty, anti-racism, coalition building, and education. Each year, the Carter G. Woodson Center will invite four speakers to present scholarship aligned with our four pillars, present video learning content aligned with our pillars on social media, and produce events for the Berea College Campus and wider Berea Community that educate our stakeholders on how PACE programming connects to the mission and commitments of Berea College.
