BSU serves as a welcoming leadership body for African American students. The students of BSU plan and coordinate educational, cultural and social events for the benefit of all Berea College students. Membership&nbsp;is open to all students interested in promoting the purpose of the organization. Dues are&nbsp;$5.00.

F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S stands for Fierce Appropriate Beautiful Unique Loving Outstanding Understanding Serious. The goal of the F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S program is to assist female students in their transition to Berea College and to increase the retention and graduation rate. Through activities and scheduled programs, participants will gain a better understanding of what it means to be a woman as well as identifying their personal definition of being a woman.

The Black Male Leadership Initiative is a program that is dedicated to addressing the gaps in the retention rates of Berea College’s men of color.&nbsp; Join us on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8-10 p.m. as we continue to strive for educational attainment through the promotion of positive thought and opportunity recognition.

This group meets monthly to gain greater cultural awareness and understanding. Meetings are usually held in the <a href="https://next.berea.edu/centers/black-cultural-center">Black Cultural Center</a>.
