Kula Kusoma – To Eat, To Learn

Kula Kusoma – To Eat, To Learn is a monthly luncheon featuring black alumni who return to campus and share their life experiences before, during and after their time at Berea College. 

All alumni are welcome to join the campus community at Kula Kusoma. In order to plan for lunch, please RSVP to let us know you’ll be joining us by the Thursday before each event. Kula Kusoma is scheduled at noon, the first Monday of most months during the school year in the Carter G. Woodson Center.

Past Presenters

MONDAY, October 1, 2018 – William E. Cook III graduated from Berea College in May 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Technology Management. In 2003, he went on to be the Assistant Director for the City of Cincinnati-Recreation Commission. While there, he spearheaded various community activities. In 2011, he became the Talent Acquisition Manager for Omni Group North America. Later he went on to a Senior Recruiting position for Convergys. He is currently the Talent Acquisition Specialist for Staples.
