Berea uses emergency alerts to quickly communicate during urgent situations such as severe weather, safety threats, or campus closures.

Notifications may be sent through:

Students and employees are strongly encouraged to keep contact information current.

Report anything that feels unsafe, unusual, or concerning. Trust your instincts.

If you would like someone to walk with you across campus, especially at night, Public Safety provides escorts.

For serious or life-threatening medical emergencies, call 911 immediately.

For urgent on-campus assistance, contact Public Safety.

Try to remain with the person until help arrives.

If a fire alarm sounds:
