People Ready Communities Leadership Program
The People Ready Communities Leadership Program brings together community members who make a commitment to grow their leadership skills and complete a hands-on project that supports building a welcoming and inclusive community and a vibrant economy.
“When I heard that Kentucky was losing out on economic development projects because communities couldn’t answer questions about how they are addressing issues of diversity, I realized that we have an opportunity to craft a narrative that says we want a diverse workforce to come, and we are ready for them.”
“This program helped me see more clearly what my community needs, and created a shift in awareness that it’s not just about jobs and economy; it’s about people and how we serve the needs that exist in our community.”
The People Ready Communities Program allows for active participation that is engaging and will make a difference in your community. For more information about the People Ready Communities Leadership Program, please contact Brushy Fork at 859-985-3858 or email brushyfork@berea.edu.
