Faith Calhoun-Louden is originally from Lebanon, Kentucky. She chose Berea College as her first-and-only option for higher education when she was in the 10th grade. She came to Berea as a non-traditional student with her two-year old daughter Destiny. Faith earned her Bachelor’s of Arts from Berea College in 2003, majoring in Child and Family Studies and minoring in Sociology and African and African American Studies. Some of her labor assignments included Media Services, Educational Talent Search, Upward Bound, Admissions, Berea Buddies, and the Berea Arts Council. Faith also obtained her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Kentucky, with a concentration in Community and Leadership Development. She is a Certified Social Worker with over 25 years of experience serving youth, adults, and families across the state of Kentucky. Along with her husband, their blended family consists of three children and four grandchildren.
