AI Governance

These guidelines supplement the College’s Computer & Network Policy and establish best practices and expectations for the responsible, ethical, and effective use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in professional settings at Berea College. The Guidelines apply to all faculty, staff, and students using AI tools for non-teaching functions, including communication, data analysis, learning, and administrative functions. To preserve academic integrity and freedom, faculty reserve the right to set specific policies regarding AI usage for their coursework.
