Biography

Morgan Hudson Mecham is originally from Kingsport, Tennessee, and is a Berea College 2020 graduate in Communication and Appalachian Studies. Once she moved to Berea to start her freshman year, she never left! She immediately knew that this small town was going to be her home for many years to come.

As a student, Morgan’s labor position was working as the Operations Manager of the Loyal Jones Appalachian Center (LJAC). Occasionally, you will still find her using their library and workspaces because the space is so welcoming! She hopes that you are able to come visit us so that she can hear which part of our amazing campus feels like home to you!
