Shelby Slone

Shelby Slone is a communications and graphic design professional from Lexington, Kentucky. While studying at Eastern Kentucky University, where Shelby double majored in Public Relations and Broadcasting & Electronic Media, Shelby discovered the beauty of Berea through weekend hikes at the Pinnacles with friends. Although not an alum, Shelby developed a deep love for the area and its community. After graduating from EKU, Shelby built a career in marketing and communications, working with a variety of nonprofit organizations and corporate brands, including The Walt Disney Company.

Fun Fact: Shelby shares her home with a sassy, long-haired dachshund named Sylvie and four cats: Winston, Watson, Willow, and Fox. (Fox was a foster-fail.)
