Online credit card gifts must be submitted no later than Friday, December 29, 2023, to receive 2023 tax credit.

You can click the button below to process the online gift for the donor via phone, if you have had your PCI training for the year.

The email field is required, but if the donor does not have an email you can use this format for entering an email address:

If the donor would like to have their EFT donation updated, please share their contact information with Brent and he will update it. If donors would like a notification of their gift sent to someone, the online donation form has the option to make a gift in honor or memory of someone. This option appears after the donation was submitted, on the confirmation page and it is a separate form prompting for a recipient email address.

Give by Mail

Stocks sent by DTC and Wire Transfers must be received in Berea College’s account by Friday, December 29, 2023. Please advise donors to work with their broker or financial advisor prior to the 29th, as gifts of stock and wire transfers may take several days before it is received in the College’s account.

Please ask donors for the type of stock, broker, and # of shares, if they know this information. Some donors just tell their broker to send what would equate to a dollar amount. Please ask for a good telephone number for them. If the broker is the caller, be sure to ask for the donor’s name and his/her address or at a minimum the city/state. If the broke is hesitate or asks why we need any of this information, explain that sometimes the donor’s name is not noted when the gift is transferred and by having this information, we will be able to match the gift with the correct donor and send the receipt in a more timely manner.

Note that the address for delivering these gifts is different from other mailed gifts. See the attached instructions below.

Gifts of Stock and Securities

Gifts from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) must be received and deposited by Berea College before Friday, December 29, 2023, regardless of the postmarked date.
