Qrescent Mali Mason is an Assistant Professor in the Women’s and Gender Studies Department. Qrescent received her PhD in Philosophy from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2014. Her academic work centers on the connection between the ethics of Simone de Beauvoir and black feminist ethics. In general, her intellectual interests include feminist philosophy, ethics (especially Black feminist ethics), Africana philosophy, the philosophy of sex and love, autobiography, and existentialism. Qrescent has also taught at Temple University, Drexel University, and Holy Family University.
