The Thanksgiving holiday is about gratitude. Bereans are grateful for many things, including:
- Generous donors who support our mission of providing a high-quality education to low-income students;
- Dedicated faculty and staff who interact with students in the classroom and in students’ labor positions.
- A school founded to welcome “all peoples of the earth” to seek to learn and live by values of love over hate, human dignity and equality, and peace with justice.
- The satisfaction of knowing that Berea College alumni carry those values into Appalachia, and beyond, where they work and serve.
