Channing Francis (he, him, his) is the Student Success Advisor in the Office of Student Success & Transition (SST) and the Office of Internships & Career Development (ICD) at Berea College.

In SST, Channing serves as an academic advisor for ~100 Berea College students and supports students’ academic success, skill development, and decision-making. In ICD, Channing supports students’ career readiness by helping students articulate their potential, discern major and career possibilities, and navigate career-related resources, opportunities, and activities. Channing teaches GST 101, Strategies for Academic Success and GST 110-A, Enhancing Career Readiness and is committed to supporting students as they work toward their academic, personal, and professional goals.

Channing earned a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Louisville and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Berea College. He is a member of the Kentucky Career Development Association (KCDA), the National Career Development Association (NCDA), and NACADA – the Global Academic Advising Community.
