Advising and Curriculum

Group of students gathered in the Carter G. Woodson Center

As a student at Berea College, you will be engaging in an educational experience that will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully navigate the world ahead. Our classes are taught by professors, not graduate students, and the 11:1 student to teacher ratio means that you will be receiving the personal attention you need to succeed.

Berea College works to provide a stimulating and challenging academic environment for students; but along with this challenge, we also work to support you and your learning. Each academic program provides tutoring to help support your learning in the classroom, and offices such as the Center for Teaching and Learning and Office of Academic Services are available to help make sure you have the tools necessary to be successful.

Whether you’re in the classroom, attending a Convocation, participating in an internship, studying abroad, or discovering ways to link your labor experiences with your academic goals, the education you will receive at Berea College is truly like no other.
