Checks are issued to students whose financial aid or other payments have resulted in a credit on their student account. Due to the large volume at the beginning of each term, those checks can be picked up in the Student Accounts office. Checks will be issued only to the payee, and a valid student ID is required. They may not be cashed at the Student Accounts office. Subsequent checks are sent directly to the student’s CPO box.
Checks are issued according to the following schedule:
- Credit on the account by Noon Monday: check is available Tuesday afternoon.
- Credit on the account by Noon Thursday: check is available Friday afternoon.
If a credit does not appear in time for the first check run, a check will be produced on the next available run.
You may not place additional funds on your student account to be withdrawn at a later time. Personal banking needs may be met by local banking institutions.
