Required: Potential applicants must complete the online My AmeriCorps application to be considered a candidate.

Background Checks required:  Social Media, Criminal background and sexual offender checks are required to serve with PartnerCorps.

Pertinent information to consider when contemplating service with PartnerCorps:

For Full-time:  Contract is 11 months—to be determined by the start date of the grant. You will be required to serve the length of the contract.  1700 hours will be served during this contract period.

For Part-time:  Contract will be determined.  900 hours to be served during this time.

Living Allowance:

For Full-Time: Living allowance of $1139.09 before taxes, distributed monthly over the length of the contract.  Direct deposit is made on the last day of the month.  The total living allowance will be $12,529.99.

For Part-time:  Total Living Allowance will be $1139.09 before taxes. Gross amount will be determined by months served.

Segal Education Award:
For Full time: 2016-2017, Education award of $5730.00 after completion of 1700 hours.

For Full-time:  For the 2017-2018 year; Education award of $5,815.00 after completion of 1700 hours. Interest accrual and loan deferment available for qualifying school loans.

For Part-Time:  Education award of $2,907.50 will be awarded after completion of 900 hours.  Interest accrual and loan deferment available for qualifying school loans.

Healthcare:
For Full-time: A minimal coverage individual health plan for AmeriCorps member only at no cost to you-available, only if you are not covered by another insurance policy.

Childcare:
Childcare benefit if household income meets guidelines. Available if you have children who have to be enrolled in childcare in order for you to serve.

Trainings:
Attendance at state and program trainings will be required. Some may require an overnight stay.  All mileage, if you drive, lodging and food will be covered by PartnerCorps. All travel request must be approved prior to travel by Project Director and or Site Coordinator.

Additional Information:
For Full-time:  Serve at least 170 hours a month.  Position is five days a week.   To achieve 1700 hours you will serve 50-52 hours a week.

For Part-time—Service hours will be determined by start date and school schedule.  Hours will be accumulated at school, afterschool, extra hours, community service and or other approved service activities.
Member will be working with students in areas but not limited to, math and science, attendance, behavior, coursework. Actual service schedule will depend on school where you are serving.

Assistance and participation in school, program, or community based service projects will be a requirement for your service year.

PartnerCorps VISTA

Pertinent information to consider when contemplating service with PartnerCorps VISTA:

Background Checks required:  Social Media, Criminal background and sexual offender checks are required to serve with PartnerCorps.

For Full-time:  Contract is 12 months—to be determined by the start date of the service site. You will be required to serve the length of the contract.

AmeriCorps VISTA: Full time, yearlong service commitment on a capacity building project such as resource development, social media outreach, volunteer recruitment, developing sustainable procedures and policies for a program/nonprofit, etc.

Living Allowance:

Monthly living allowance of $990.00 per month before taxes. Gross amount will be determined by months served. Direct deposit is made on the last day of the month. The year total allowance will be $11,880.00.

Attendance at state and program trainings will be required. Some may require an overnight stay.  All mileage, if you drive, lodging and food will be covered by PartnerCorps VISTA. Unless, the Project Director or supervisor advises other measures. Carpool or motor pool will be encouraged.

AmeriCorps VISTA members upon completion of service can utilize their Non-Competitive Eligibility Status.
