Processing Duties: Under the direction & supervision of the processing archivist, the archive worker will be asked to assist in identifying and describing records held within niche special collections; potentially supporting outreach activities including blogging or digital exhibitions.
General Duties- Archives workers operate as a team to assist the Special Collections and Archives staff with registering patrons, researching patron reference questions, shelving special collections and archival materials, arranging and describing archival collections, minor book repair, and other duties as assigned. Workers are expected to be service-oriented, friendly and able to follow detailed instructions.
Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9 am and 5 pm. Tuesday and Thursday between 9 am – 7pm.
Special Collections and Archives does not offer weekend hours.
