In January 2016, IS&S migrated all faculty and staff email accounts to Microsoft’s cloud based solution, Office 365. Now Berea365 (Office 365) is Berea College’s only email solution and all accounts that existed on the local Exchange service have been migrated. Moving to Berea365 offers many benefits over our former Exchange, on campus solution. Of these benefits are the following:
- 50 GB of email disk space
- An integrated, sharable calendar
- Better connectivity with PCs, Macs, and mobile devices
- Ability to share and simultaneously edit documents within a secure workspace
- Individual, sharable calendar
- The ability to check your email on the web, from any email client (Outlook, Mac Mail, etc.), and on your mobile phone
- Anti-spam and virus protection

Sending Secure Email
One of the features of Berea365 is the ability to send encrypted emails to others in the organization and outside email addresses. This document provides more information about secure emails and how to send them.
Clearing Outlook Cache
After switching to Berea365, some email addresses may not appear correctly. This requires clearing your Outlook cache and these instructions explains how that can be done.
