Sharing Berea's mission with the world

The Media Relations office gathers and distributes news about Berea College’s remarkable mission and the accomplishments of its students, faculty, staff, alumni, and programs to local, regional, and national media outlets. The office also provides guidance to College departments to assist in interactions with media representatives.

Berea’s Media Relations office has garnered attention for the College nationally and internationally in a wide array of broadcast, print, and online news, as well as other media venues, including the New York Times, Washington Post, Forbes, MONEY, Chicago Tribune, Diverse magazine, Washington Monthly, USA Today, TV Tokyo, Al Jazeera America, and CBS Television.
