Guidelines for Students Applying for Grants from the English Department
The English Department has several funds that can be used to support student-initiated travel to and/or participation in off-campus:
- internships or independent studies
- team-initiated studies
- domestic or international study
Applications will be reviewed by a committee of program faculty. Preference will be given to applicants who are: majoring in English, who have not previously received funding from the Department, and who will be returning to the College for at least one semester.
Applications should be submitted electronically to Steve Pulsford, program chair, at email@example.com. A response can be expected within two weeks after submission of the application.
Students receiving grants from the English Department should submit a brief report within two weeks of the completion of the event or program. It should be submitted electronically to Steve Pulsford.
