Berea’s strong academics and high expectations prepare students for anything. In addition, there are opportunities to complete funded internships in a student’s chosen field of study so they’ll have the tools—and experience—they need when they graduate.

Strong Academics

We do more than guarantee tuition is covered at Berea. For example, we provide funding for grad school application fees and visits, professional clothing, study abroad, and even up to $1,000 to relocate to a job or grad school after graduation.

Extraordinary Support

Students learn teamwork and become a leader among their peers through more than 100+ student-led organizations, community-based service projects and programs, funded internships and intramural sports. There’s something at Berea for everyone!

Leadership Development

We have over 100 departments in our work-learning program, where students will practice, master, and demonstrate the skills, knowledge and behaviors employers of tomorrow will demand of their workforce. Students will build their résumé during college with jobs that support their career aspirations, leaving them ready for whatever is next after graduation.

Work Experience

Personal mentorship from faculty and staff is one of the many ways we provide high levels of support. With an average class size of 14, students don’t have to worry about being seen and heard in the classroom.
