Our exhibits are open to off-campus visitors. We are open weekdays, 8am-5pm.
The Loyal Jones Appalachian Center presents an ongoing program of interpretive exhibits in our Center and around campus. Our LJAC Gallery includes exhibits that introduce visitor and students to Appalachia, explore special topics, and tell interesting stories.
Location: On the Berea College Campus, first floor of John B. Stephenson Hall, in the Loyal Jones Appalachian Center. Street address 205 N. Main St., Berea, Kentucky. Public parking is available on the street and at nearby College Square, by the Boone Tavern Hotel.
Hours: Free and open to the public weekdays, 8am-5pm. The Gallery may be closed when in use as a classroom and on Berea College holidays. Other times are possible by special arrangement.

In addition to its exhibitions, the Loyal Jones Appalachian Center displays many individual pieces of public art and expression. Some are by students. Some are by self-taught artists. A few are by professionals. Stop in to experience these featured pieces and more in person.
