Rodney Wolfenbarger joined the Brushy Fork staff in 2012.

As associate director, Rodney is responsible for managing program communications and publications, leading research and evaluation efforts, soliciting public input for program designs, and managing a state and federal grant partnership that provides community capacity-building mini-grants to Kentucky’s economically distressed Appalachian counties.

He is a 2003 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Social Responsibility and Sustainable Communities at Western Kentucky University. This interdisciplinary program is focused on issues of social justice and sustainability, economic and social policy, leadership studies, community building, and community-based research.
