Rodney Wolfenbarger joined the Brushy Fork staff in 2012. He serves as Associate Director and oversees the organization’s communications strategies, develops core program strategies, and assists with the planning and implementation of the Annual Institute and other programs and services provided for regional and national nonprofits, community agencies and foundations.
He has previously worked and served as a high school educator, an AmeriCorps*VISTA national volunteer, an educational counselor with the Berea College TRIO programs, a youth program manager and volunteer program coordinator of a children’s science museum, and a teacher of 21st Century STEM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). He is a 2003 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and currently resides in Berea.
