For New Freshman and Transfer Applicants (Domestic)
If you are a domestic student applying as a new freshman, you must submit an FRQ as a component of your application once it becomes available in October 1, 2016.
You are also required to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to complete your application file, which will become available October 1, 2016. If you submit an FRQ or FAFSA prior to your senior year of high school or have submitted either of these for a previous application, you will be required to resubmit the FRQ and/or FAFSA.
You will have the option to print your FRQ once it is complete and you are encouraged to do so for your records.
Also, if your family has encountered special circumstances (divorce, death of wage earner, etc.) your financial eligibility should be considered on an individual basis. If you have any questions or are experiencing technical difficulties, please contact us during business hours at 1-800-326-5948.
For International Students (Transfer or New Freshmen)
If you are an international student, you will be required to complete separate documentation to confirm your financial eligibility. Please refer to Information on Submitting the International Application for Admission and Scholarship”.
Final determination of financial aid and eligibility for Berea College can be made only via the submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Financial Resource Questionnaire (FRQ). These forms are not applicable for International Students.
