Federal Grant Programs – PELL and Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
The Federal Pell Grant amount is based on the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as determined by the FAFSA. Awards for the 2012-13 academic year range from $602 to $5,550. Your grant may increase or decrease based on the exact course load for which you enroll each term and if any FAFSA changes are made during the academic year. The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant is available for students with the greatest need. If eligible, this award will be included in your financial aid notification and is based on a student’s need and funding available, amounts will vary.
(Note: The EFC is the federal government’s assessment of a family’s ability to contribute to the student’s education for the academic year and is determined from information provided on the FAFSA.)
