About the Center

The Student Service Center maintains academic records on all students as well as record of all financial transactions (except telephone accounts). We can provide transcripts, enrollment verifications, and/or a detailed listing of student charges and payments on your student account, and answer any questions pertaining to these transactions. Currently, the Student Service Hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

In addition to monitoring student academic and financial records, the Service Center

• Coordinates registration and confirmation for all students at the start of each term
• Houses various forms for financial and academic activities
• Maintains records on all non-Stafford student loans
• Monitors payroll deductions
• Non-Degree Student Applications
• Degree Audits
• Placement and Waiver Tests
• Maintain student academic records
• Verify current enrollment (Acrobat Format)
• Evaluate transfer and international student credentials
• Certify candidates for graduation and athletic eligibility
• Edit/publish the Berea College Catalog and Schedule of Classes and the Catalog & Student Handbook
• Coordinate Registration (including add/drop)
• Maintain the Academic Calendar
