Awards Committee

The Awards Committee is responsible for securing and reviewing names of potential recipients of the various awards and honors to be conferred by the Association acting by and through the Executive Council.  The Awards Committee makes recommendations to the Executive Council concerning all awards and honors to be conferred by action of the Executive Council.

This year the Awards Committee will be asking for nominations for Honorary Degrees to be conferred at a Commencement and the Berea College Service Award.  The call will go out Monday, October 1st.  Then we will review the nominations and select who we will recommend to either the College Faculty Assembly (Honorary Degrees) or General Faculty Assembly (Service Award) for a vote.  Our goal is to have both tasks completed this semester, so that the Assemblies will be voting in either the December or January meeting.
