American Folklife Center
The American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress was created by Congress in 1976 "to preserve and present American Folklife." The Center incorporates the Archive of Folk Culture, which was established at the Library in 1928 as a repository for American Folk Music. Corporation for National and Community Service
The Corporation for National and Community Service provides opportunities for Americans of all ages and backgrounds to serve their communities and country through three programs: Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America. Members and volunteers serve with national and community nonprofit organizations, faith-based groups, schools, and local agencies to help meet community needs in education, the environment, public safety, homeland security, and other critical areas. The Corporation is part of USA Freedom Corps, a White House initiative to foster a culture of citizenship, service, and responsibility, and help all Americans answer the President's Call to Service.

Kentucky Education, Arts and Humanities Cabinet
The Kentucky Education, Arts and Humanities Cabinet is charged with the mission of preserving Kentucky's heritage, preparing for its future and promoting a statewide culture of lifelong learning. With the leadership of Governor Ernie Fletcher and Secretary Virginia G. Fox, the agencies of the Cabinet provide or oversee services that contribute to an enhanced quality of life for all Kentuckians; excellence in public education, quality libraries, the preservation of historical materials and landmarks and cultural enrichment through the arts.

Migrant Education Program
