Dr. Douglas Owen, President of the Madison County Medical Society, recently presented a check for $1,000 to Berea College for a scholarship to benefit a graduating senior planning to attend medical school. Accepting the check on behalf of the College is Dr. Dawn Anderson, chair of the Biology Department. The scholarship will be presented at Berea College’s Academic Awards Banquet on April 18.
