| Two Berea College faculty members will hold a question and
answer session about the science behind biological and chemical
weapons on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 5 -6 p.m. in the Commons of
the Woods-Penniman Bldg. The session is open to everyone.
Dr. Mathew Saderholm, assistant professor of chemistry, is
a 1992 graduate of Berea, who holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from
the University of North Carolina. He has been teaching at Berea
since 1999. Dr. Dawn Anderson is an associate professor of
biology, and has been a faculty member since 1992. She earned
her B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Washington.
Saderholm and Anderson hope to draw upon their expertise to
better inform people in the community and allay unfounded fears
that could result from concerns about anthrax and other biological/chemical
weapons.
