| Berea College has enrolled 1,675 students for the fall semester,
the College's highest enrollment during the last 10 years,
according to information from the College's Office of Academic
Services.
The total, which includes both full- and part-time students,
consists of 944 women and 731 men. The freshman class is composed
of 381 students while the seniors number 384. The sophomore
class has 397 registrants while 349 are classified as juniors.
Part-time enrollment totals 55, with 29 of those from Berea
Community and Madison Southern High Schools. Nine employees
are taking courses and 14 part-time students in other categories.
The fall term enrollment for the 2000-01 academic year was
1,590.
