Pot-luck dinner and an important learning opportunity for
the campus community concerning the recent tragic events in
Washington and New York. Faculty with specific knowledge of
issues such as U.S. foreign policy, Islam, current world affairs,
etc. will be present to lead discussion.
CELTS and Campus Ministry will sponsor the event, for additional

THURSDAY, SEPT. 20
Phelps Stokes Chapel
3 p.m.
The Berea College community will gather to honor the victims
of the recent terrorism and to reflect upon our responses to
these events. The Student Chaplains, the SGA, Campus Ministry,
and the President's Office is sponsoring the gathering. The
service will include many voices from the Berea College Community,
including those of students, staff, and faculty from various
religious traditions.
President Shinn will speak briefly at the end of this service.
It is our hope that this gathering will provide a time of support,
comfort and healing for members of the Berea College community
and beyond.
