| Registration has begun for the 13th Annual Summer Day Camp
sponsored by Berea College's Students For Appalachia.
Six sessions are being offered for preschoolers through teens:
Preschool and Kindergarten (ages 4 and 5) June 11-15, 10 a.m.-2
p.m.; Elementary (ages 6-9) June 18-29 (session is full) and
July 16-27, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Juniors (ages 10-13) July 2-13
and July 30-Aug. 10, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Campers will participate in educational activities, perform
service projects, create artwork, and engage is a variety of
recreational activities. Field trips also are planned.
Goals of the camp include building the self-esteem of each
individual, providing hands-on activities, and having good,
clean fun.
The registration fee for each session is $5 per child for
those who qualify for free and reduced lunch and $25 for all
others. Registration fees are due with applications.
