The Actor's Guild of Lexington will present excerpts from
their production of Lorraine Hansberry's award winning play "A
Raisin in the Sun" at Berea College on Tuesday, April
10 at 8 p.m. in Gray Auditorium of Presser Hall.
The performance, sponsored by the College's Black Cultural
Center and the Professional Growth Committee, is free and
open to the public.
In addition to the full cast, director Joe Ferrell will be
present. Ferrell will provide narration and continuity through
the presentation of excerpts. A question and answer/discussion
will follow the performance.
Other members of the company are: Frieda Vinson as Lena;
Christal Weathers, Ruth; Philip Alcorn, Walter Lee; Tiffiney
Kavanaugh, Beneatha; Okoarye Dishman, Travis; Earl Hazell,
Joseph Asagai; Whit Whitaker, George Murchison; Sylvester
McRae, Bobo, and Brian Howard plays the part of Karl Lindner.
