Ramsay is Berea College’s new director of information
systems and services. He began his new duties August 14.
As director, Ramsay will be responsible for College computer networking,
administrative systems and computer center services.

technology team, is coordinated by Sandra Bolster.
Before joining Berea, Ramsay developed the highly successful CEATH
Company, a consulting corporation providing information technology
and human development services for clients on three continents
in eleven countries from the Fortune 100 to academic institutions
and small non-profits. As managing director, Ramsay developed and
implemented a vision for the role of technology and information
systems within various organizations, planned and implemented the
organizational and human resource developments needed for the effective
use of new information technology systems and for creating excellent
client service.
A 1977 graduate of Berea College, Ramsay previously had been employed
for 12 years in the information systems and services field in corporate
settings. From 1981-89 he was a systems analyst with Hyster Company
in Berea and from 1989-93 was employed with Clark Equipment of
Lexington, where he was manufacturing systems analyst and then
director of education and development.
Ramsay and his wife Charlie Harrison Ramsay, also a Berea graduate,
have four sons, Mark, age 23; Luke, 20; John Paul, 16 and Joseph,
