Ann Mary Quarandillo has been named director of publications for
Berea College. Her appointment was effective Sept. 1.
A member of the public relations staff, she will be responsible
for production of College publications, including serving as editor
of the BEREA ALUMNUS magazine.
For the past year and one-half Quarandillo has been communications
and program associate with the College's Brushy Fork Institute,
where she had responsibilities for the Institute’s publications
and also served as a facilitator in the leadership program’s
communications and project management workshops.
Quarandillo also comes to her new position with additional experience
in the areas of communications, development, public relations and
instruction in higher education from positions she has held with
Alice Lloyd College, Bluegrass Tomorrow, Inc., and the University
of Kentucky.
She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan
and an M.A. from the University of Kentucky.
