Registration has begun for the 12th Annual Summer Day Camp
sponsored by Berea College's Students For Appalachia.
Six sessions are being offered for preschoolers through teens. The
Preschool (ages 4 and 5) session is June 5-9; Elementary (ages 6-12)
sessions are June 13-23, June 26 - July 7, July 11 - 21 and July 24 -
Aug. 4, and the Teen (ages 13-15) session is Aug. 7-11.
Campers will participate in educational activities, perform service
projects, create art work, and engage is a variety of recreational
activities. Field trips also are planned.
Goals of the camp include building the self-esteem of each
individual, providing hands-on activities, and having good, clean fun.
The registration fee for each session is $5 per child for those who
qualify for free and reduced lunch and $25 for all others.
Registration fees are due with applications.
