Berea's Sound Archives Preserves Heritage
Great performances from the Celebration of Traditional Music don't just
live on in memory, they're preserved in the College's Hutchins Library Special
Collections Sound Archive.
Sound archivist Harry Rice says continuous audio records beginning in 1974, and
videotapes of Celebration performances from 1974-79 and 1987-94 are stored in
the archive.
